School Entrance tuition allows children to sit common entrance exams with confidence. The 4+, 7+. 8+, 11+ and 13+ entrance exams are part of the admissions process into selective schools. Sitting these tests can be very stressful for the whole family therefore early preparation is highly recommended. With our school entrance tuition service we prepare children in English, Maths, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning. Lessons take place on a one to one basis or as part of a study club during the holidays. We begin by assessing children to find out their strenghts and areas for development. Lessons are then planned accordingly to include study skills and exam techniques.
When is the best time to get a tutor?
Early preparation and school entrance tuition is highly recommended with the exception of the 4+ test which only requires up to 2 months preparation. If however your child is taking the 7+, 8+ 11+ or 13+ it is recommended that preparation should start at least a year prior to sitting the tests.
