7+ and 11+ EXAM PREPARATION CLASSES
Our 7+ and 11+ Exam Preparation classes allow children to interact with others whilst learning at their own pace.
My 7+ and 11+ exam preparation classes are welcoming, supportive and encouraging. The atmosphere is one of enthusiasm, positivity and determination. Furthermore I pride myself on providing a comprehensive programme of study covering material which schools are not always able to cover in-depth due to time constraints.

Class Size: 4 – 8 children

Course Outline This 5 day course will cover skills needed to understand and answer questions and exam skills such as planning answers and tracking time. Furthermore children will develop their descriptive writing skills, learn to bring a character to life, use tenses- past and present, punctuation and a variety of sentences. They will be given the opportunity to extend their vocabulary and use imagery such as metaphors, similes, alliteration, personification and onomatopoeia. Different writing styles such as stories, diary entries and letters will be covered.
Children will be given a workbook to use throughout the course with model answers and a short homework task. Homework will be sent via email and marked within 2 working days. Children will receive an annotated copy of their homework with feedback.

They will have the opportunity to look at different text types from poems, a passage from a book, letters and recounts. This course also includes spelling, punctuation and grammar as well as verbal reasoning skills.
Children will also be given a workbook to use throughout the course, model answers and a short homework task. Homework is sent via email and marked within 2 working days. Children will receive an annotated copy of their homework with feedback.
