Learn Happy London Tutors and Education Consultancy, wish to show our respect and care for the privacy of our clients by making it clear for you what we do with the personal information that you share with us.

Learn Happy London Education Consultancy and Private Tutors was founded by Gaby Azagury.

a) What information do we collect about you?                                                                                                                                                                                                                   The personal information we collect about you or your child is made up from the information you give us during your use of the web site, our services and during any communications with us. Information constitutes your contact details and personal information about your child in order to deliver our education services. The only information that we retain is a child’s name, age, address and tuition notes. Please be assured that we keep such information under strict confidence. A child is considered to be any persons up to the age of 16.

b) What about sensitive information?                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        We do not generally seek to collect sensitive personal information about users of our web site and services.  If we do seek to collect sensitive information we will ask you to explicitly consent to our proposed uses of that information at the time of collection.  We use the term “sensitive personal information” to mean information about topics such as personality and private life, racial or ethnic origin, colour, membership of political parties or movements, or other such sensitive topics.

c) Can you give us information about another person?                                                                                                                                                                                                          If you give us information about another person then we accept it on the understanding from you that you have made the other person aware of how we will use and disclose their information and the other person has given you permission to provide their details to us. You should not provide us with others’ personal information if this is not the case. We accept information about you from other persons on the same basis.

3. On what legal grounds do we store and use the information we have about you and your child?

The legal grounds for holding and using the personal information you have provided us is your written permission that you have supplied us with this information yourself. You have the legal right, at any time, to request that we delete and stop using any of this information. We will always comply with such a request within fourteen days of receipt of your request. .

4. Storage of your personal information

Data security is very importance to us, and to protect your data we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure data collected through our website.

If you send us any personal information by email or via the internet it is important to remember that this can never be guaranteed to be entirely secure and you do so at your own risk.

Once we receive your information, we make our best efforts to ensure its security on our internal system.

Any breech of our IT systems that involve a loss of data will be reported to the ICO within 72 hours of this breech being known and all parties will be informed of this.

5. How do we use your information?

We may use your information, as a data controller, for the following purposes: (a) to provide you with our web site and services; (b) to comply with legal and regulatory requirements; (c) to carry out credit checks, to detect, investigate and prevent fraud and to trace debtors; (d) to update and enhance client records; (e) for internal analysis and research; (f) to send you publications, event information and marketing communications about our legal products and services which we think may be of interest to you; and (g) to help detect, prevent and deal with crime and unsavoury behaviour.

We may also use and disclose information in aggregate (so that no individuals are identified) for marketing and strategic development purposes.

The use of sensitive information, such as details of special needs, personal circumstances, etc that you have supplied us with that will be used in order to give appropriate support and to enable adapting teaching materials and methods to enable your child’s full participation in lessons and workshops.

6. Do we use your information for marketing purposes?

We may use your information to market our own products and services to you (please see above for details). We send most of our publications, event information and marketing communications by email, but we may from time to time use other permitted means, such as post or phone.

You can tell us at any time if you would prefer not to receive our publications, event information and/or marketing communications. The easiest way to do this is through our web site (please see below for further details).

We are not in the business of giving your information to third parties to allow them to market their goods and services to you – and we will not do this unless you specifically ask us to do so.

7. With whom will your and your child’s information be shared?

The names and all contact information that you provide for yourself and your child for the purposes of administration and participation of private tuition lessons and workshops will NEVER be shared unless:

  1. We am required by statutory law to do so.

  2. We have your permission in writing.

  3. We are asked to give academic/employment references to schools or colleges as requested by you.

8. What will be done with yours and your child’s information when you have ceased to use our services or requested that we no longer hold or use your personal information?

All of your personal details and those of your child will be deleted within fourteen days unless you give me permission in writing to continue storing and using your information, such as for future notification of services and courses.
